Location

Gazing at the view from our terrace, you will see that you are right above the picturesque old port of Santorini, Armeni. Armeni was an important commercial port in the 18th and the first half of the 19th, exporting wine throughout the Mediterranean and the Black Sea. There they also built the famous wooden sailing ships for their travels. Today the port can be accessed either by boat or by the traditional path with stairs. You can find a lot of information about the maritime life of the place in the maritime museum of Oia.
